Your wedding day should feel like one giant love p

Your wedding day should feel like one giant love puddle.

Like a bright beam of sun after a cloudy day. Like a big hug from your best friend. Like the fresh smell of pavement and grass after a rainfall. Like the first bite of a fresh cinnamon roll. Like the first dip off a roller coaster.

It should feel like all of those things at once. Do everything you can to make it feel that wonderful.

Don’t invite people that you haven’t spoken to in years. Include your furry friends. Elope to a country that’s been on your bucket list for years. Wear a fun outfit. Don’t bend to tradition if it doesn’t hold meaning for you. Do whatever the hell it is that makes you happy, because it’s the day you deserve to feel the happiest that you’ve ever felt in your life.

Crisp fall wedding days have my heart forever and always. There’s something just so special and extra cozy about them. This was my first time shooting at @blackbarnvenue (funnily enough I was there a week later for my last wedding of 2023) and I hope I get to go back soon. What a charming place and the people running it are absolute sweethearts! I love that every aspect of your day can happen on site, leading to a wonderfully relaxed day that’s ripe for candid, in between moments. Highly recommend to any couples looking for a chill, beautiful, cozy place to tie the knot ✌🏻

Marina had the most wonderfully peaceful wedding day morning. She got ready with her mom and her closest friends, made time for cuddles with her pups, and even made time to do her own makeup and her mom’s makeup! Her friends gifted her the most heartfelt scrapbook with photos and handwritten notes, making it a perfect keepsake long after the wedding day. Thank you all for being so kind and welcoming, it was the best day!

I sent my wedding bouquet to get preserved after our backyard reception so that I could enjoy it forever! @oxeyefloralco did an incredible job making this into the most perfect keepsake 💐 because I came late to the floral preservation party and her 2023 books were already full, Ayla pressed and preserved my bouquet immediately after my reception and kept it safe for nine months until it was my turn to have the keepsake made and I’m so grateful for her wonderful work! She even included a little bag full of the extra pressings that I’m going to use in craft projects!

Florals don’t often last forever after the wedding so I jumped at the opportunity to have my @corychristopher bouquet preserved. It now hangs as a part of our gallery wall in our living room and I get to enjoy it every day! Cory, thank you so much for gifting me such a beautiful present 🫶🏻
