When the day feels right in your body, everything changes:

the energy in the room the way you hold each other the photos you get to keep

Destination Weddings Welcome

If you’re planning your wedding, the question to keep asking—again and again—is this: does this feel right for us?

Because it’s one thing to have a vision. It’s another thing entirely to keep hold of it once family opinions, wedding expectations, and styled photoshoots try to tell you what the day is supposed to look like.

Maybe what you want is smaller, or more vibrant, or less traditional. A wedding that feels meaningful because it’s built around your actual relationship.

Those choices make the whole damn day

A wedding becomestruly yours through a hundred intimate decisions, and your photographs hold the feeling of it all

a bride and groom feeding each other a first bite of wedding cake-bordered

And when you feel relaxed enough to be yourselves, it shows

It’s there in the way you move, the way you touch, and the way you look at each other without thinking about it.

That kind of connection can’t be staged. But it can be protected.

Being photographed on a wedding day can feel vulnerable. There’s already so much emotion, attention, and pressure in the room. You shouldn’t also have to wonder what to do with your hands or whether you’re doing any of it “right.”

So I’ll step in when a moment needs guidance, and step back when it needs space. You won’t be posed into a version of yourselves that feels stiff or unfamiliar, but you also won’t be left hanging.

A few frequently asked questions

  • For an 8-hour wedding, you can expect around 500-800 edited images. The final number depends on how the day unfolds, but there will be plenty there to reflect the day fully.

  • Yes, weddings outside of Edmonton city limits are absolutely possible. Travel fees for weddings within Alberta may include gas, hotels, and a daily per diem. For destination weddings, coverage is custom quoted, and Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, Denmark, Italy, and Switzerland are all very much on the wish list.

  • Think true to life, not airbrushed into another dimension. The colours stay honest to the day, little distractions can be tidied up, and temporary imperfections can be softened, but the whole point is still to look like yourselves. A bit of wind in the hair or a glass in hand has never ruined a good photo.

  • Film can be added by request for an additional cost if you want that extra dose of nostalgia.

  • Yes, additional coverage is available for things like rehearsal dinners, bach trips, or post-wedding brunches.

  • Yes! Wedding expenses add up fast, so after you’ve signed the contract and paid the initial retainer fee, the remaining balance can be split into smaller payments. All payments must be completed one week before your wedding day.

  • I typically open bookings up to 18 months in advance. If you’re planning a 2026 or 2027 wedding, inquiries are welcome now.
